Highlights

  • FLOODS: Floods continue to affect Colombia. Forty-four people have died and more than 100,000 are affected in the current rainy season.

  • MIGRATION: It is estimated that 1,390 unaccompanied children have been assisted in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas state - Mexico, 300 more than in the same period in 2013.

  • CHIKUNGUNYA: Nicaragua has registered 1,021 cases, 95 per cent of which have occurred in the last 25 days. Authorities are intensifying prevention measures.
