In addition about 3,000 hectares of crops were affected. The overflow of the Rio Frio River was due to heavy rains that affected the municipalities of Algeciras, Rivera and Campoalegre in Hualia Department. No deaths were reported; however, about 2,000 people were evacuated from the Rio Negro neighborhood. The Huila Department remains on red alert due to hydro-meteorological conditions.
