ZOA, World Renew and the Canadian Foodgrains Bank have been providing emergency food assistance to Venezuelan migrant, Colombia returnees, and Colombian host community households who are facing food insecurity. The objective of this project is to improve immediate food security through an electronic modality and since January 2020 has taken place in 5 project phases. The projects project emergency food assistance in the departments of Arauca, Atlántico and La Guajira. Phase 5, the most recent phase, concluded in January 2024.
The infographic provides information on the total number of assisted people, the project locations and the intervention logic since 2024. Furthermore, it shows the results most recent results of Phase 5 by providing baseline and post-distribution monitoring data including the Food Consumption Score (FCS) and the Reduced Coping Strategy Index (rCSI) score before the project began and at the later stages of distributions.
