Introduction

In 2013, the IASC Principals statement on the Centrality of Protection (CoP) challenged all humanitarian actors to center a risk and protection-based framing in their work. Ten years later, CoP has become firmly entrenched as a humanitarian norm, but its field implementation remains limited. This action-based research project seeks to operationalize CoP, putting the policy into practice.
