During 2024, UNHCR complemented the efforts of local and national authorities to respond to the humanitarian needs of populations requiring protection and their host communities.
The interventions developed protection measures and solutions to ensure that the various populations with and for whom UNHCR works can access rights and meet their basic needs. UNHCR and its partners also undertook actions to empower communities and strengthen the capacity of local and national institutions to provide protection and assistance.
