Very heavy rainfall has been affecting western Colombia (in particular, the Antioquia department) since 14 April, causing landslide risk that have resulted in population displacement and damage.
Media report, as of 17 April, 12 preventively evacuated families in the area of the El Porvenir village (Itagüí municipality, southern Antioquia department) due to the landslide risk.
Over the next 72 hours, more rainfall with locally heavy rainfall is still forecast over most of the Antioquia department.
