In the first weeks of 2026, heavy rains and consequent flooding have affected Antioquia department in northwestern Colombia, resulting in fatalities, damage, and road and school closures. The most affected cities include Arboletes, Necoclí, San Juan de Urabá, Murindó, and San Pedro de Urabá.

As of 5 February, media reports indicate one fatality and three missing in Necoclí, with over 7,500 affected across Antioquia. In Necoclí and San Juan de Urabá, several families were evacuated due to rising waters from surrounding rivers.
