As of 20 January 2025, with the changes on immigration policy in the United States, a signicant increase in deportations of Colombian citizens is projected. It is estimated that by 2025 the number of deportations of Colombians will amount to approximately 27,000 people, which would represent an increase of 58% compared to the previous year.
