A landslide triggered by heavy rainfall occurred on 13 April in Dagua town in the department of Valle del Cauca, in central-western Colombia, resulting in casualties and damage.
According to media, as of 14 April, two people died, three families around the landslide area have been preventively evacuated, one house has been destroyed, and one road has been closed in Dagua town.
For the next 48 hours, more rainfall is expected over central and southern Colombia.
