Heavy rainfall has been affecting central-western and north-western China, particularly the Qinghai province over the last 48 hours, triggering a landslide that has resulted in casualties and damage.
Media report, as of September, three fatalities and one injured person in the area of the Minhe Hui and Tu autonomous county, far eastern Qinghai province due to a landslide occurred on the morning (UTC) of 4 September.
Over the next 24 hours, according to the China Meteorological Administration (CMA), more heavy rainfall is still forecast over most of central-western China, including parts of the already affected Qinghai province.
