China: Chemical density in Heilongjiang River's Bacha section declines

BEIJING, Dec 23, 2005 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- The density of nitrobenzene continues to drop in the Bacha section of the Chinese part of the Heilongjiang River, 49 km up stream of Fuyuan section.
According to a report released by China's State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) Friday, the nitrobenzene was measured at 4 a.m. Friday at a density of 0.0776 mg per liter in the Fuyuan section, (71 km away from Russia's eastern city of Khabarovsk) of Helongjiang River of Chinese side.

At 4:OO p.m. Thursday, the chemical was tested at a concentration of 0.0178 mg per liter in Chinese side's Bacha section.
