The “Zemita” wildfire affected the regions of Maule and Bio Bío, specifically in the communes of Parral and Ñiquén, consuming a total of approximately 2,600 hectares of vegetation and affecting 40 houses. A total of 23 forest brigades helped combat the wildfire. At the national level, CONAF has registered a total of 25 wildfires, 17 of which are controlled, 7 which are active, and 1 that is extinguished.
