FARSHANA ( 17 Apr .) - Sudanese refugees in Farshana Camp in eastern Chad are suffering from an acute shortage of drinking water.
The shortatge caused distress to the women in the camp. One of the refugees told Radio Dabanga that the women spend a long time waiting for water and even if they manage to get it, it is usually insufficient. He added that this happens every summer. He appealed to organizations to take action by digging a well and bringing in an extra water tank.
