Khartoum and N'Djamena reach agreement to monitor borders' security

The Sudanese government said that it reached a preliminary agreement with Chad to deploy a joint force to monitor their border. Speaking to Miraya FM, a member in the Sudanese delegation to N'Djamena, Amin Hassen Omer, said that the expulsion of the opposition from the two countries was also discussed.

The National Elections Commission announced that it has received so far more than 10 applications for candidates standing for the post of President of the Republic.
