  • United Nations humanitarian chief, Valerie Amos, and European Union Commissioner for aid and crisis response, Kristalina Georgieva visited CAR from 11 to 12 July 2013.

  • UNHCR assisted 870 flood affected households in Bangui.

  • UNFPA distributed 350 dignity kits to women victims of floods in Bangui.

  • 29 of 37 suspected cases of measles in the west and northwest regions tested positive.

  • WFP distributes 897 MT of food assistance to 44,118 people affected by the crisis in CAR.

  • 1,408 gender based violence survivors assisted.

  • 41 community-based protection committees established countrywide.
