Central African Republic (CAR) – Violence (DG ECHO, NGOs) (ECHO Daily Flash of 12 January 2019)
Armed groups attacked the town of Bambari on 10 January. Five people have reportedly been killed and more than 20 wounded, including civilians. The attack has triggered new population displacement, with hundreds of civilians fleeing. CAR continues to be severely affected by violence. Overall, a quarter of the population has been forcibly displaced.
