  • Results of Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) assessments carried out by ACTED from 18 to 30 May 2013 in the Provinces of Kemo, Ouaka, Basse Kotto and Mbomou, revealed humanitarian needs in the Health, WASH, Protection, Education and Food Security sectors.

  • 15,902 people received WASH assistance.

  • 141 children, 15 of whom are girls, have been released from armed groups following on- going discussions between the United Nations and the CAR transitional government.

  • New transitional government named

  • US$ 1.3 million allocated to NGO multi-sector response
