JOINT ASSESSMENT OF NEW REFUGEES NEEDS
UNHCR and the Direction of Civil Protection are to conduct a joint mission to evaluate the needs of approximately 3,800 Nigerian refugees who have entered Cameroon in the sub-divisions of Nwa (North-West Region) as well as Bankim, Mayo-Dalle and Mayo-Banyo (Adamaoua Region.) The displaced families fled the Taraba State in Nigeria following clashes between Mambilas and Mbororos Fulani between 19-23 June. The NGO MBOSCUDA is providing some emergency relief through food assistance.
