Education main challenges in the region

•At the end of the year, funding remains a major challenge both for the Cluster countries (only 22% reached according to FTS) and for the other countries in the region benefiting from UNICEF's Humanitarian Action for Children (HAC) appeal (only 12.7% reached).

•This has logically impacted the achievement of results, with only 42% coverage for access to education and 30% for the provision of learning materials.

•There was also a slight increase (3% vs. Q3) in the number of schools closed, following the decline between Q2 and Q3.

•People on move also observe an increasing trend (3% for IDPs and 2% for refugees between Q3 and Q4)
