Highlights:
- UNICEF and its partners reached 575,570 people, 294,982 of them children with multisectoral humanitarian response services in 2024.
- UNICEF and its partners responded to the exceptional floods in the Far North by providing essential health, WASH, nutrition, protection, multi-purpose cash and education services.
- Over 190,000 people were reached with Child Protection services, including 113,631 children and caregivers who were provided with community-based mental health and psychosocial support and 6,008 unaccompanied and separated children who accessed family-based care or a suitable alternative.
- 85,233 children received life-saving severe acute malnutrition (SAM) treatment. Over 47,000 children affected by crisis accessed formal or non-formal education.
- UNICEF substantially contributed to the mitigation of and response to preventable diseases through WASH and health services, including vaccination.
