Cameroon: Humanitarian Dashboard (as of 31 March 2025)

Attachments

In 2025, armed conflict, violence, climate shocks, and disease outbreaks continue to drive humanitarian needs in Cameroon, with 3.3 million people in urgent need of assistance and protection services. The Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) aims to assist 2.1 million of the most vulnerable people and requires US$ 359.3 million in funding.
The situation in the Far North, North-West and South-West regions, along with the effects of the Central African Republic (CAR) refugee crisis in the eastern regions, continues to impact the lives of women, girls, men, and boys, including people with disabilities. New, multiple or prolonged displacements, combined with limited access to basic goods and essential services and insufficient resources, have worsened the well-being and living conditions of internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, refugees, and local communities in crisis-affected areas.
Since the beginning of the year, humanitarian assistance has reached 364,000 people in crisis-affected areas of Far North, North-West, South-West, and eastern regions. According to the Financial Tracking Service (FTS), US$ 21.5 million has been allocated to the response by end of Q1, representing 6 per cent of the required funding.
A total of 123 organizations reported implementing activities, the majority of which are national organizations (73 per cent). The response analysis shows a decrease of approximately 27.9 per cent in the number of people reached from 505,000 to 364,000 during the same reporting period in 2024. In the meantime, the number of humanitarian partners reporting has decreased compared to 2024, limiting overall visibility on response monitoring results.
