Seven (7) donors supported CPAoR activities in May 2025. 28 AoR partners implemented child protection activities in all 12 out of 13 Divisions of the NWSW. These partners include ASWEDO, AWA, BIHAPH, CAFEDO, Caritas Kumba, CASAF, CBCHS, CES, FGI, Foundation for Inclusive Education (FIED), GCR, GLOCIR, Goodwill Foundation (GWF), HABF, HEDECS, LAW Cameroon, Mike Yanou Foundation (MYP), NIHSED, PAIDWA, Plan International, QFF, RAO, REACH BACK, Revive Action Cameroon (REVACAM), SHUMAS, SUDAHSER, TeenAlive Association, and Zotah Elizabeth Fossungu Association (ZEFA). 4 organisations reported from both regions.

48% of the partners reported from the South West, and 52% reported from the North West. A total of 36 subdivisions were covered as was the case in April. The top 3 Divisions covered were Fako with 32% (5,919), Bui with 16% (3,048) and Lebialem with 13% (2,473). The 3 Divisions with the lowest reach were Boyo, Ngo-Ketunjia, and Momo. Activities were not reported from Ndian.

The 28 AoR partners (16 in the SW, 12 in the NW; 4 partners reported from both regions) supported AoR activities and reached 18,713 persons (13,955) children, and 4,758 adults, compared to April 2025 when they reached 22,247 persons, with a 16% decrease in people reached. Out of the 13,955 children reached, 67% (9,385) were reported from the South West and 33% (4,570) were reported from the North West. 62% (11,509) of the persons overall reached were females, while 38% (7,204) were males. 60% of cluster projects/activities implemented were HNO/HRP projects, while 40% were Non-HNO/HRP projects.

The top 3 activities implemented included the the provision of mental health and psychosocial support to children and their caregivers and reached 18,713 persons (62% females, 38% males), including 75% children, and 25% adults). 6,502 (35%) were reached in the NW, and 12,211 (65%) were reached in the SW. The partners who implemented this activity included Caritas Kumba, CASAF, FIED, GLOCIR, NIHSED, QFF, Revive Action, TeenAlive Asso, Zotah Elizabeth Foundation, BIHAPH, CAFEDO, CBCHS, CES, GLOCIR, H4BF, and Mike Yanou Foundation. The second activity with most reach was the identification and implementation of measures to prevent risks of violence, abuse and exploitation of children. It reached 9,997 persons, comprising 5,696 (57%) females, 4,301 (43%) males, 3,690 (37%) children, and 6,307 (63%) adults. 2,064 (21%) were girls while 1,626 (16%) were boys. All 9,997 persons were reached in the South West. The partners who implemented this activity included Caritas Kumba and TeenAlive Association. The third most reached activity was the provision of support to issue birth certificates to humanitarian crisis-affected children, where 7,617 persons were reached, 7,575 were sensitised on birth registration, and 42 children were provided with birth certificates in OKU by SUDAHSER. Among the 7,575 persons sensitised were 4,086 (54%) females and 3,489 (46%) males, and 4,376 (58%) children (2,425 girls and 1,951 boys). These activity was implemented by Caritas Kumba, FGI, TeenAlive Association, FGI, GCR, and SUDAHSER.

To strengthen the referral mechanism, the AoR completed the process of service mapping of partners who are able to provide pertinent and time-sensitive services to children referred to their services and has started the GBV safety audit process in both regions.
