From January to December 2025, 62 AoR partners implemented child protection activities in 13 Divisions and covered 55 Subdivisions (29 in the NWS and 26 in the SW). These partners include UNICEF, PAID-WA,DRC, NRC, AMEF, ASWEDO, AWA, BETA, BIHAPH, CAFEDO, CAMHELP, CARITAS Buea, CASAF, CBCHS, CES, Caritas Bamenda, GHCO, Caritas Kumba, REACH BACK, Caritas Kumbo, FIED, Caritas Mamfe, FGI, GCR, GLOCIR, GPA, GWF, GWA, H4BF, HADY, SHUMAS, HEDECS, HHHC, HOFEH, HTF, IRC, LAW, LUKMEF, MYP, NIHSED, SENHOFA, QFF, RAGJ, SCC, OWED, Plan International, REVACAM, SUDAHSER, TeenAlive, YADEF, and ZEFA. The top 3 Divisions covered were Fako with 20% ( 28,323), Mezam with 14% ( 19,526), and Lebialem with 12% (17,037). The 3 Divisions with the lowest reach were Meme, Boyo, and Momo Divisions.
A total of 139,888 (97%) persons, (58%) females, (42%) males, (including 73%) children, 25% adults, 2% elderly, and 1% were adults and children with disabilities were reached with Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). MHPSS services provided included positive parenting, recreational activities for children, awareness creation, implementation of GBV risk mitigation measures, and psychosocial counseling.
A total of 5,674 (4%) persons benefited from Birth Certificates, including 5,541 (98%) children (2,914 girls and 2,627 boys) in Njinikom, Oku, Wum, Menchum-Valley, Bamenda 2, Bamenda 3, Bafut, Bamenda 1, Babessi, Tiko, Buea, Tombel, Bangem, Fontem, Wabane, Mamfe, Akwaya, Eyumodjock, Kumba 1, and Ekondo Titi.
From the 52 AoR partners who reported activities in 2025, (31 in the SW,29 in the NW, 10 reported from both regions) implemented AoR activities and reached 144,079 persons, Including 104,206 (72%) children, 36,570 (25%) adults, and 3,263 (2%) elderly, were reached with AoR activities. Out of the 104,206 children reached, 57% (59,798) were girls, while 43% (44,448) boys. Overall, 58% (83,967) of the persons reached were females, while 42% (60,112) were males. 78% of cluster projects/activities implemented were HNO/HRP projects, while 22% were Non-HNO/HRP projects.
The top 3 results achieved included 139,888 (97%) children and their caregivers, 81,515 (58%) females, 58,373 (42%) males, including 101,925 (73%) children (58,452 girls and 43,473 boys) and 3,737(3%) Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) who benefitted from Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). They gained the ability to withstand stress, restore normalcy, and improve coping mechanisms. The second major result achieved includes 99,290 (69%) persons who improved knowledge measures to prevent risks of violence, abuse, and exploitation of children during the delivery of humanitarian assistance and in humanitarian contexts. These included 58,773 (59%) females, 40,517 (39%) males, 40,845 (41%) children (23,984 girls and 16,861 boys) and 3,539 (4%) PWDs. The third major result achieved was the improvement of knowledge on the importance of civil documentation as a legal identity right and a passport to protection, and the
acquisition of birth certificates through the AoR's interventions. A total of 84,530 (59%) persons improved their knowledge on the importance of civil status registration and the processes involved, and 5,674 (7%) of them obtained birth certificates. Amongst those who obtained birth certificates were 5,541 (98%) children, with 2,914 (51.35%) girls.
