In January 2026, 17 AoR partners implemented child protection activities in 11 out of 13 Divisions and covered 27 Subdivisions of the NWSW regions. These partners include UNICEF, Green Partners Association, ASWEDO, TeenAlive, BIHAPH, CBCHS, Cornerstone Enrichment Services, Caritas Bamenda, Caritas Kumba, Foundation for Inclusive Education, Global Community Rescue, GLOCIR, and PAIDWA. From the 13 partners 64% reported from the NWR and 35% reported from the SWR, with 3 organisations (UNICEF, and TeenAlive reported in both regions (NWSW). The top 3 Divisions covered were Menchum with 30% (2,350), Ndian with 23% (1,777), and MEzam with 19% (1,503). The 3 Divisions with the lowest reach were Fako, Manyu, and Kupe-Manenguba Divisions.
A total of 4,416 (57%) persons, (56%) females, (44%) males, (including 88%) children, 10% adults, 2% elderly. Out of these, 1% were adults and children with disabilities reached with mental health and psychosocial support. MHPSS services provided included positive parenting, recreational activities for children, awareness creation, implementation of GBV risk mitigation measures, and psychosocial counseling. Birth Certificates were distributed to 16 children (9 girls and 7 boys) in Wabane and Ekondo-Titi.
Thirteen (13) AoR partners (9 in the SW, 5 in the NW, 2 reported from both regions) implemented AoR activities and reached 7,816 persons, including 4,930 (63%) children, 2,794
(36%) adults, and 92 (1%) elderly, were reached with AoR activities. Out of the 4,930 children reached, 55% (2,712) were girls, while 45% (2,218 boys. Overall, 56% (4,410) of the
persons reached were females, while 44% (3,406) were males. 81% of cluster projects/activities implemented were HNO/HRP projects, while 19**%** were Non-HNO/HRP projects.
The trends graph shows a 20% decrease in the number of persons reported from December 2025.
The top 3 activities implemented included the provision of support to issue birth certificates to humanitarian crisis-affected children reached 7,528 (96%) persons 4,237 (56%)
females, 3,291 (44%) males, including 4,930 (65%) children (2,712 girls and 2,218 boys). From these, 16 children (9 girls and 7 boys) received birth certificates. The activity was
reported by ASWEDO, BIHAPH, Caritas Bamenda, Caritas Kumba, CBCHS, CES, Foundation for Inclusive Education (FIED), GCR, GLOCIR, GPA, PAIDWA, and
TeenAlive Association in Alou, Babessi, Bafut, Balikumbat, Bamenda 1, Bangem, Ekondo Titi, Eyumodjock, Fontem, Mamfe, Muyuka, Njinikom, Tombel, Wabane, and Wum.
The second activity with the provision of interventions for the prevention and mitigation of risks and response to GBV affecting children. It reached 6,306 (81%) persons,
comprising 3,566 (57%) females, 2,740 (43%) males, 4,690(74%) children (2,570 girls and 2,218 boys). The partners who implemented this activity included ASWEDO, Caritas
Bamenda, Caritas Kumba, CES, and TeenAlive Association in Alou, Babessi, Bafut, Balikumbat, Bamenda 1, Bamenda 3, Bangem, Ekondo Titi, Fontem, Limbe 2, Limbe 3,
Muyuka, Njinikom, Oku, Tombel, Wabane, and Wum.
The third most implemented activity with the greatest reach was the provision of mental health and psychosocial support to children and their caregivers and reached 4,416 (57%)
persons 2,468 (56%) females, 3,810 (44%) males, including 3,893(50%) children (2,168 girls and 1,725 boys). The partners who reported this activity included BIHAPH, Caritas
Bamenda, Caritas Kumba, CES, and TeenAlive Association in Akwaya, Alou, Babessi, Bafut, Balikumbat, Bamenda 1, Bamenda 2, Bamenda 3, Bangem, Ekondo Titi,
