In December 2025, 17 AoR partners implemented child protection activities in 12 out of 13 Divisions and covered 34 Subdivisions of the NWSW regions. These partners include UNICEF, UNESCO, St Elizabeth National Residential Nursing Home, CBCHS, CES, GCR, GLOCIR, GPA, LUKMEF, HTF, Caritas Kumba, Foundation for Inclusive Education, Good Hope Charity Organization, Goodwill Foundation, IRC, QFF, and REACH BACK.

At least 50% reported from both regions, with 3 organisations (UNICEF, UNESCO and LUKMEF present in both regions (NWSW). The top 3 Divisions covered were

Bui with 17% (1,619), Mezam with 15% (1,424), and Ndian with 12% (1,134), people reached. The 3 Divisions with the lowest reach were Manyu, Boyo and Kupe-Manenguba Divisions. No reports came in from Momo Division.

A total of 9,267 (95%) persons, (59%) females, (41%) males, (including 74%) children, 24% adults, 2% elderly. Out of these, 1% were adults and children with disabilities reached with mental health and psychosocial support. MHPSS services provided included positive parenting, recreational activities for children, awareness creation, implementation of GBV risk mitigation measures, and psychosocial counseling.

Seventeen (17) AoR partners (10 in the SW, 10 in the NW, 3 reported from both regions) implemented AoR activities and reached 9,763 persons, including 7,232 (74%) children, 2,340 (24%) adults, and 191 (2%) elderly, were reached with AoR activities. Out of the 7,232 children reached, 58% (4,224) were girls, while 42% (3,008) were boys. Overall, 59% (5,754) of the persons reached were females, while 41% (4,009) were males. 68% of cluster projects/activities implemented were HNO/HRP projects, while 32% were Non-HNO/HRP projects. The trends graph shows a 3% decrease in the number of persons reported from November to December.

The top 3 activities implemented included the provision of mental health and psychosocial support to children and their caregivers and reached 9,267 (95%) persons 5,457 (56%) females, 3,810 (39%) males, including 6,901 (71%) children (4,018 girls and 2,883 boys). The partners who reported this activity included Caritas Kumba, TeenAlive, FIED, REACH BACK, LUKMEF, QFF, IRC, CBCHS, CES, GLOCIR, HTF in Akwaya, Alou, Buea, Ekondo Titi, Eyumodjock, Fontem, Kumba 1, Kumba 2, Kumba 3, Limbe 1, Limbe 3, Mamfe, Muyuka, Tiko, Tombel, Wabane, Ako, Babessi, Bafut, Balikumbat, Bamenda 1, Bamenda 2, Bamenda 3, Fundong, Ndop, Njinikom, Noni, Oku, and Wum.

The second activity with the provision of support for the issuance of birth certificates to crisis-affected children. It reached 3,748 (38%) persons, comprising 2,156 (58%)females, 1,592 (42%) males, 2,131 (57%) children (1,191 girls and 940 boys). No children received birth certificates in December 2025. The partners who implemented this activity included Caritas Kumba, and TeenAlive in Alou, Ekondo Titi, Eyumodjock, Fontem, Tombel, and Wabane.

The third most implemented activity with the greatest reach was the identification and implementation of measures for the prevention of the risks of violence, abuse and exploitation of children during humanitarian contexts. It reached 3,739 (38%) persons, made up of 2,155 (58%) females and 1,584 (42%) males. This activity was implemented by Caritas Kumba, TeenAlive, and LUKMEF in Alou, Ekondo Titi, Fontem, Limbe 1, Limbe 3, Muyuka, Tiko, Tombel, Wabane, Bamenda 1, Bamenda 3, Fundong, and Ndop.
