People affected by flash floods in Kong Pisey and Bor Seth districts of Kampong Speu province receive humanitarian donations from the Cambodian Red Cross [EN/KM]

On the morning of October 28, 2023, H.E You lana, Second Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodian Red Cross(CRC) and H.E Vy Samnang, President of the Committee of the CRC Kampong Speu Branch, donated humanitarian aid to 552 families affected by the floods in 18 villages, 4 communes, Kong Pisey and Bor Seth district, Kampong Speu province. Each family received: 25 kg of rice, 1 box of noodles, 10 cans of fish, 1 kit (mosquito net, blanket, sarong, krama) and 6 bottles of fish sauce and some funding. It should be noted that in October 2023, the Cambodian Red Cross provided humanitarian donations to a total of 7,516 flood-affected families (of which 6,210 families in the central level and 1,306 branches responded in 9 branhes, including Phnom Penh, Pursat, Kampong Speu, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Siem Reap, Kandal, Preah Vihear and Takeo.
