19 September, 2002 11:19 - During the last 24 hours, water level at most stations from Chiang Saen to Pakse receded; except, at Vientiane, Nong Khai and below Stung Treng - rose. Water level at Koh Khel, Neak Luong is higher than the alarm stages; at Tan Chau and Chau Doc, it has been exceeded flood stages since August 23. In coming days, water levels at most stations from Chiang Saen to Stung Treng will recede, from Kratie down to the Delta continues to rise slowly.
