12 September, 2002 11:37 - During the last 24 hours, water level at stations from Chiang Saen to Pakse receded; meanwhile, from Stung Treng downstream - rose. Water level at Pakse, Koh Khel is higher than the alarm stage; at Tan Chau and Chau Doc, it has been exceeded flood stages since August 23. In coming days, water levels at stations from Chiang Saen to Stung Treng continue to recede, from Kratie to Kompong Cham will rise in 1 -2 days, then will recede; below Kompong Cham downstream to the Delta continue to rise slowly. Water level at Kompong Cham, Neak Luong will be exceede the alarm stage.
