04 September, 2002 11:38 - During the last 24 hours, water level at most stations receded, at Vientiane and Stung Treng rose at rates 15 cm and 01 cm, respectively. Water level at Koh Khel is still higher than the alarm stage; at Tan Chau and Chau Doc, it has been exceeded flood stages since August 23. In coming days, water level at most stations is predicted to fluctuate slightly.
