I. HIGHLIGHTS/KEY PRIORITIES

 UNOCI Human Rights section reports on 26 cases of summary execution, arbitrary arrests and other serious human rights abuses, confirming the concerns of protection partners.

 Internally displaced persons continue to be evicted from IDP sites by owners of occupied premises.

 Protection Cluster advocates for urgent support of early recovery and social cohesion in parts of the West to reduce inter-community mistrust and prevent new forced displacement of populations.

 Malnutrition rate among internally displaced persons in the West increases from 4 to 7 per cent since mid-May.

 Lean harvest due to lack of rain puts 30 per cent of rural households (around 314,400 people) at risk of food insecurity in Moyen Cavally and Montagnes regions.

 Return rate of IDPs in Toulepleu increases as more humanitarian actors respond to shelter needs.
