Tomorrow, 2 August, the Czech government is going to send the second part of the humanitarian aid to cover the flood damages in Bulgaria. Its total value is about EUR 17 000. The relief supplies include 2 100 liters fungus disinfectants and 8000 liters water disinfectants. The first 2000 packages (1000 liters) have already been delivered. In mid June the Czech Republic donated 60 draining pumps estimated at EUR 30 000.
The Civil Protection Agency has received relief donations from Care and Caritas agencies in Bulgaria. Humanitarian aid from Slovakia is expected in the late Tuesday evening. Greece has also expressed readiness to lend assistance to flood-hit areas. The support amounts to EUR 20 000.
