Winter Clothing given for 150 minors, 107 women, 340 elderly
IOM ( International Organization for Migration) is currently overseeing 3 camps in the city of Bihac. This refugee camp started back in August with Red cross also supporting and providing medical assistance. There are now more than 7,000 persons affected of which 2,000 are sleeping on streets. The weather conditions will be extreme in the upcoming weeks including heavy snow which could start leading to deaths. Most of these people are from Pakistan, Syria and Afghanistan.
Humanity First (HF) Germany with assistance of Humanity First Bosnia comprising of 4 volunteers provided humanitarian assistance to over 500 affected people. On the 28th November 2019 HF organized winter clothing distribution project in the refugee camp Boric which is located in the city of Bihac, Bosnia. Children, minors, women and men were provided with winter jackets, gloves and over 150 children were provided with full sleeve shirts and leggings.
