- Heavy rainfall affected central and northern Bosnia and Herzegovina and northeast part of Croatia, Slavonia region over the period from 26 to 29 March, causing floods, river overflows, particularly the Bosna, Una, Sava, Sana, Ukrina river and triggering landslides that have resulted in population displacement and damage.
- Media report, as of 31 March, nearly 150 evacuated people and more than 1,000 flooded houses across Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the worst affected cities are Prijedor and Sanski.
- In Croatia, media also report a number of damaged roads due to landslides that occurred in the Dubrovnik city area.
- The Copernicus EMS was activated in rapid mapping mode (EMSR797) on 27 March in the afternoon to provide flood extent emergency mapping, and six maps were produced so far.
- Over the next 72 hours, more rainfall is still forecast over central and northern Bosnia and Herzegovina.
