  • COLOMBIA: Close to 66,000 people affected by the 2011 rainy seasons; total affected since 2010 is 2.8 million.

  • BOLIVIA: Government reports more than 16,000 affected by rains. The UNETT is working on a CERF application.

  • PARAGUAY: The dengue epidemic has affected close to 10,000 people – 2,000 in the last week.

  • CUBA: More than 1 million people affected by drought; 100,000 in the capital, La Habana.
