The Country Director travelled to the United States, where she met a number of private companies, foundations and faith-based organizations to develop new alliances. There were positive interactions with the Clinton Foundation and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A field visit to see the School Meals programme is being prepared with the latter.

A meeting with Repsol Bolivia will be held in March to explore possibilities for the expansion of the collaboration to other areas of the country.

WFP and Fundación Repsol donated a food dehydrating plant to the Entre Ríos Municipality.

The Country Office presented a proposal to Tod´s through Friends of WFP Italy, to assist 500 small holder women farmers.
Impact of Limited Funding
- The nutrition and livelihoods components of the CP are on hold since April 2016 due to lack of funding. The only active component is School Feeding which has confirmed contributions to reach only 32.800 children out of the 40.000 planned.
