  • The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service has issued red alerts in the departments of Chiquisaca, Potosí, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz and La Paz, mentioning the following: “RED The threat level is extreme (unusual phenomena of strong, very strong and exceptional intensity with a very high threat level for the population).”
  • Overall Impact: According to the country's humanitarian team report, 467,000 people have been affected, 156,000 of whom have suffered significant damage or loss.
  • Evacuations in Bolivia: Dozens of families evacuated their homes due to rains and floods in La Paz and Cochabamba.
  • Cochabamba: Red alert in OTB Nuevo Amanecer after a landslide affected several homes. At least 10 families evacuated, 21 homes with severe structural damage, and 90 at risk.
  • Caranavi, La Paz: Overflow of the main river flooded homes and streets. Town in a state of emergency.
  • In the department of Tarija, municipalities have reported hailstorms that have devastated crops, affecting the livelihoods and food security of rural populations.
  • Government Actions: The Army attended to 41 emergencies and mobilized 3,111 soldiers to assist with evacuations. 380 homes destroyed, mainly in La Paz.
  • Weather Forecast: Senamhi forecasts more heavy rains in La Paz, Oruro, and Potosí.
  • Ascensión de Guarayos, Santa Cruz: Emergency declared in the rural area, affecting 29 communities.
