Highlights

  • BOLIVIA: Authorities report more than 150,000 people affected by the current rainy season. The government has declared a national emergency in the departments of Cochabamba, Potosí, and Santa Cruz.

  • PERU: 2,700 people affected in Madre de Dios. 560 houses destroyed and 6 temporary shelters are operating due to floods.

  • ECUADOR: Tungurahua volcano erupted. At least four provinces are on alert for volcanic ash. The area is on alert.
