Bolivia (Update)
On 3 April 2019, the Bolivia Civil Defense updated its report and indicated that the Potosi, La Paz, Chuquisaca, and Cochabamba Departments are under a state of emergency due to floods, landslides, and river overflows. Since the 19 March report, 72 municipalities nationally are under a state of disaster (increased by 11 municipalities) and 25 municipalities are under a state of emergency (increased of 3). Since the 19 March report, the number of affected families has increased; in the Department of La Paz, 8,511 families suffered injuries (increase of 2,581) and 19,151 families were affected (increase of 5,006). On 1 April 2019, the Mayor of Boa Vista do Gurupi, Maranhão State, Brazil, issued an emergency declaration for several communities in Boa Vista do Gurupi Municipality. An overflow of the Gurupi river caused several families to evacuate and affected 650 people and homes. The report is available Portuguese at: Prefeitura Municipal de Boa Vista Do Gurupi.

On 3 April 2019, media reported, heavy rain in the provinces of Chaco, Cordoba, Tucuman, and La Rioja in Argentina where several streets flooded and 600 people were evacuated. In addition, some rural areas were completely flooded and 300 people were forced to evacuate. Furthermore, in the town of Saturnino María Laspiur, 180 people were evacuated. On 3 April 2019, media reported heavy rain affected the following 5 Municipalities in Antioquia Department: Valdivia, Briceño, Ituango, Toledo, and Urrao. In Valdivia, at least 200 homes and 79 homes in Briceño were affected. Elsewhere, in Bucaramanga Municipality, Santander Department, heavy rain caused the Bolarquí bridge to collapse and isolated 350 families.
