Following the heavy rainfall that affected western Bolivia on 23-24 November and caused floods, rivers overflow and a landslide, the number of casualties has increased.
Media reports, as of 27 November, two fatalities, 26 injured people, more than 30 displaced people, a number of rescued people and around 70 damaged houses due to the overflow of the Pasajahuira river and due to a landslide event occurred in the area of the La Paz capital city.
Over the next 96 hours, more heavy rainfall is still forecast over western Bolivia, including the already affected La Paz capital city area.
