Attachments

Currently in its development phase, the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO), a climate pattern characterised by unusually warm ocean temperatures in the Equatorial Pacific, is projected to affect Latin America and the Caribbean throughout 2023.

Sources indicate the presence of a weak-to-moderate El Niño, with a moderate-to-strong El Niño forecast to arrive in the coming months.
