SUMMARY
The Joint Response Plan (JRP) for the Rohingya refugee response, a prioritized plan covering the period March-December 2018, is only 39 per cent funded as of 11 October 2018, with USD 374 million received against overall needs of USD 951 million. JRP Partners (including the UN and NGOs) are grateful for the ongoing and generous support from donors who have collectively contributed USD 691 million since the beginning of the crisis on 25 August 2017. Nonetheless, urgent additional financial support is required to avoid dramatic cuts in basic services.
This document outlines the current priority activities reported by Sectors under the JRP, including for protection and assistance to refugees and the communities that host them.
