ISCG Situation Update: Rohingya Refugee Crisis, Cox’s Bazar - 5 December 2017

Attachments

626,000 new arrivals are reported as of 04 December, according to IOM Needs and Population Monitoring (NPM).

As noted, ISCG sitrep update currently reports figures verified by IOM NPM, which is a comprehensive community level assessment covering all sites in Cox’s Bazar where Rohingya refugees are present. In parallel, the UNHCR Family Counting exercise was recently completed at the household level.

The reconciliation of the abovementioned processes will take place shortly. It is expected that there will be a significant increase in the number of verified refugees with the inputs from the UNHCR Family Counting process.
