In 2025, 24,318 migrants from Bangladesh arrived in Europe by sea and by land, a 59 per cent increase compared to the number registered in 2024. Bangladeshi nationals are registered at arrival across all routes to Europe, but mainly along the EMR and the CMR. In 2025, 83 per cent arrived in Italy and 16 per cent arrived in Greece. The remainder (about 1%) arrived in Malta and Spain.
This data snapshot provides a profile of Bangladeshi nationals arriving in Europe, based on Flow Monitoring Surveys collected by DTM in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Greece, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Spain, and Kosovo* in 2025, with findings weighted by number of arrivals per route.
