Following a sudden stop to major donor support in 2025, an Early Warning System (EWS) in Cox’s Bazar risked collapse at the height of monsoon season. Support from Start Network’s Solidarity Fund helped bridge the gap, allowing local teams to restart core activities, reconnect volunteer networks, and continue reaching people in high-risk areas.
This case study from Caritas Bangladesh shows how community-led action can sustain anticipatory action by keeping early warning systems alive, highlighting why flexible, fast funding matters for protecting hard-won progress.
