Sylhet

Flood situation is improving in all upazilas. 1 lad of 13 year age is missing in Kurarbazar union of Bianibazar upazila. 4,62,000 people of 92,930 families are affected in 75 unions of 11 upazilas, 1 pouroshobha and 5 wards of city corporation. Other damages: earthen household (totally) – 1942; earthen household (partially) – 16,468. 1 person in Gowainghat upazila and 1 person (an infant) in Jointapur upazila, total 2 died. 38 shelters remain open where there are 4,250 people. Sheltered people started to go back to home. 39 medical teams are providing health related support to flood affected people. District administration is continuing relief distribution. The overall situation is under strict and careful observation and necessary steps are being taken based on requirement.

Kurigram

Due to upstream water and heavy rainfall for last few days, flood situation occurred. Water level of the river Brhmaoputra is flowing over the danger level. Besides water level of Dharola and Dudhkumar is increasing but remain under the danger level. Unions of low land and Char of Vurungamari, Razibpur, Nageshwri, Fulbari, Sadar, Ulipur, Chilmari and Rowmari Upazilla are inundated.Road communication of Rajibpur to Rowmari and Rowmari to Rangpur have been breached due to the damage of road at Golabari of Rowmari Upazilla at evening on 29-06-2012.
District administration allocated 810 MT GR rice to distribute among the affected people of Upazillas. Relief activities are ongoing. Overall situation is under observation.

Jamalpur The Jamuna is flowing over the danger level at Sirajganj. Water level of Brohmmoputra is also increasing. 6 unions (Prtially) and 6 unions (totally) are inundated in Islampur upazilla and 3 unions of deoanganj upazillas are totally inundated. Besides Shayampur union of melandah upazilla is also inundated. Fisrt floor Deaonganj upazilla complex is partially inundated. People from remote char areas have taken shelter on embankment. 133 MT GR rice is distributed among the flood affected people by district administration. Overall situation is under observation.

Sirajganj

The Jamuna is flowing over 65 cm above danger level. Chars and low laying areas of Kajipur,
Sadar, Belkuchi, Chouhali, Shahzadpur upazilas. Many families of this district are marooned. The situation is under observation and monitoring by district administration.

Bogra

The Jamuna is continuing to rise. 8 unions of Dhunot, Sariakandi and Sonatola have been inundated. Water is entering into other fresh low laying areas. District administration has allocated 100 MT GR rice to the affected upazilas. Overall situation is under observation and monitoring by district administration.

Gaibandha

The Brahmaputra and the Ghagot are flowing over danger level and continuing to rise. Low laying upzilas of 7 unions of Phulchhori upazila, 5 unions of Shaghat upazilas, 8 unions of Shundorganj upazila 6 unions of Sadar upazila and Gaibandha Pouroshobha have been inundated by flood water. District administration has allocated 491 MT GR rice and BDT 2,00,000 GR cash. Overall situation is under observation and monitoring, informed district administration.

Flood has not been started yet in Manikganj, Rangpur, Munshiganj, Pabna and Tangail.
