Background
The Co-Chairs of the Humanitarian Coordination Task Team (HCTT) convened a meeting on 22 April 2024 to
- Strengthen coordinated efforts for the National Disaster Risk Management
- Enhance the effectiveness of the Humanitarian Coordination Task Team (HCTT) in protecting the lives and livelihoods of
vulnerable population. - Endorse the Clusters priority areas of work for 2024.
The meeting was opened by the co-chairs of the HCTT Ms. Gwyn Lewis, Resident Coordinator, United Nations, and Md Kamrul Hasan, ndc, Secretary, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR). Mr. Md. Mijanur Rahman, Director General, Department of Disaster Management was a special guest at the meeting.
