GAPS / CHALLENGES

  • Inadequate access to funds has been cited as a major blockage to response delivery with many organizations ready to respond, though yet to receive any confirmed funding.

  • In order to priorities assistance within the limited resources a Joint Strategic Response plan was developed by HCTT to reduce food insecurity and to meet the immediate needs for next 3 months. The plan aims at enhancing the coordination of operations and strengthening response capacity across all concerned humanitarian actors.
