• Acute respiratory infection and acute watery diarrhoea are showing an increasing trends, whereas suspected malaria and unexplained fever are showing decreasing trends.

• 24 alerts were raised last week including one EBS alert of suspected acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) case.

• The suspected AFP case was investigated by the Immunization team within 24 hours (turned out to be an old case).

• No notable changes in trends of other diseases and syndromes.
