1. Introduction:

In the aftermath of Cyclone Remal, a comprehensive medical response has been initiated to address the immediate healthcare needs of affected populations in Satkhira, Khulna, Patuakhali, Bagerhat, Barguna, Pirojpur, and Bhola Districts. This report gives a summary of Mobile Medical Teams (MMTs) response deployed in Satkhira, Khulna, Patuakhali, Bagerhat, Barguna, Pirojpur, and Bhola Districts. The 1st phase of the MMT deployment was conducted in Satkhira and Khulna Districts from 2-8 June 2024 and 2nd Phase was conducted rest of the districts from 25 June-01 July 2024. Each MMT consists of 1 medical doctor, 1 midwife, 2 PSS volunteers and 2 RCY volunteers.

2. Purpose of the MMTs Deployment:

The purpose of the deployment is to provide treatment for the general patients and psychosocial well-being affected by the Cyclone Remal. In addition to the medical treatment, the patients also received free medicine support as well.
