The Information Management Working Group (IMWG) is operationalized in Bangladesh under the leadership of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics under the Statistics and Informatics Division, Ministry of Planning in the coordination of the Humanitarian Coordination Task Team (HCTT) with the goal to strengthen Information Management Coordination with all actors, across clusters and sectors. IMWG is chaired by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) and hosted by UNDRR and the UN Resident Coordinator's Office (UNRCO) in Bangladesh.
IMWG hosted a meeting on 04 August 2022 with the following agenda point:
(1) briefing on the Census 2021 (process and status)
(2) looking to the future: Disaster Related statistics (ESCAP guidance)
(3) result sharing: INFORM risk index (4) initiate Common Operational Dataset (CoD)
(5) AoB
